What can I say about this family? Beautiful? Yep! Karen is a Newborn Photographer in Canada and contacted me to do a Family Beach Session while they were here in Orlando on vacation. This ended up being one of my easiest portrait sessions. The kids were seasoned pros since mom is a photographer and then of course they were all gorgeous and I loved the colors they chose to wear! And “Hello 2012″! Thank you Clients for a wonderful 2011! I did a little of everything, newborns, maternity, lots of families and beach sessions. It was a great year! I’m looking forward to 2012 and meeting new families who trust that I will provide them lifelong memories captured in print. Below is a sample of my 2011 client work. The main reason I love shooting at the beach is the environment, especially the evening sky. Only occasionally is the sky hazy or dull, most often it’s beautiful pastel colors, but this session yielded a different kind of sky…amazing! And this is a shoot that almost didn’t happen. My client and I had been diligently checking the 10 day forecast and our session date showed rain, which in FL is not uncommon, but the chance of rain was just a little too high for my liking, so we were able to reschedule during the week while they were here vacationing, and boy am I glad we did! The weekend was a complete washout. I think in Orlando we received 8 inches of rain that weekend. That is NOT the norm. Showers and storms are hit and miss and so far, have always missed us during beach sessions! It was pleasure to meet this lovely family! Before they know it, their children will be grown, but they’ll have these beautiful portraits to remember.
